THE AREA The studio is located in the heart of Barcelona's Gothic area, between the main Cathedral and Plaza del Pi. A very lively area, full of shops, restaurants and bars. Depending on the walking direction, it is 5-10 min walking distance to 1. the beach and harbour in Barceloneta, 2. the lively Borne district, 3. the famous Rambla Catalunya with the Liceo Music Hall, and 4. Plaza Catalunya and the two main shopping streets - Paseo de Gracia and Rambla de Catalunya. Also at 5 min walking distance to Barcelona's nicest markets, La Boqueria and Mercado de St. Caterina, where you can buy fresh fish, fruit, vegetables, a variety of cheese, olives, ... or have some Tapas in well know market Tapas bars. Well connected to public transport, public car/bike parking at 3 min distance, if needed....
