Our house, with a lovely garden, is located in the Schepenbuurt. On the ground floor you will find the living/dining room, with a comfortable sitting area and large dining table with six chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped, with a dishwasher, refrigerator and separate freezer, combi oven, coffee maker, etc. Through the patio doors you enter the garden, with maintenance-free grass 😉, a picnic table and lounge bench, and a slide, sandpit and swing for the children. The two bedrooms on the first floor now have cots, but these can be replaced with single beds if desired. The bathroom is also on the first floor. It is spacious and comfortably furnished with a shower, a separate bath, sink, washing machine and dryer. On the top floor is the bright "master bedroom" with a small office where you can work quietly. The location is very favorable, with both the center and Leidsche Rijn at max. 15 minutes by bike. Utrecht Zuilen train station is within walking distance, as are other points to get on public transport. It is also easy by car, because you are on some main highways within 5 to 10 minutes. But more importantly: there are enough nice bars and restaurants in the area. For example, you have more creative places like NAR and de Nijverheid, but also the "standard" restaurants like De Proefzaak or Moos. The sunny terrace of SOIA is also within walking distance. And if you want to dance the night away in Kabul a Go Go, you can roll home. For a breath of fresh air, Julianapark is nearby and for some extra steps and coffee at Landhuis in de Stad, walk to Park Oog in Al. There you will also find Buurten, a nice place to eat or drink something with children....
